Corner Brook Pulp & Paper to pause PM No. 7 production for boiler upgrade

Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Limited in Corner Brook, Newfoundland is temporarily shutting down paper machine number 7 on Sunday, November 3 for the final work in a three-year upgrade of its main boiler.

According to The Telegram, the outage will last 11 days.

Kruger, the mill’s parent company, told the news outlet that employees who normally work on the machine will either work on maintenance or complete training.

PM No. 2 will stay operational during the outage.
